The Callahan family

Callahan Jewelers and the Callahan family have been providing a personal and reliable jewelry experience in Northern New Jersey for 36 years. We aim to serve all of our customers’ jewelry needs, and we provide everything from engagement rings to high-end diamond and gemstone jewelry, sterling silver jewelry, giftware, watches, custom orders, repairs, ear piercings, watch battery changes, and more. Diamond are the keystone of the Callahans expertise and experience.

Brian Callahan, the owner, opened the Closter store in 1992, and has been in the fine jewelry business almost as long as he can remember. West Essex Jewelers in West Caldwell, NJ was run by his father, Thomas Callahan, until sold at his retirement in 2006. Our family values draw multiple generations of the same families as patrons to make memorable jewelry purchases with trust and confidence.

Callahan Jewelers is a charter member of the Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO), a buying cooperative for independent retail jewelers. The IJO gives us the buying leverage necessary to provide extraordinary value.
